All employees participated in the ‘METTA Charity Run’ marathon event held on September 28th, commemorating the 43rd anniversary of Hyundai Corporation’s Singapore subsidiary, Hyundai One Asia and Hyundai Fuels corporation. We will introduce the marathon participants from Joe Tenh of Singapore.

Good day Hyundai Corporation family. It is me, “Joe from Singapore” again, I hope this message finds you well. Time flies and it is already one and a half year since I first joined, and now I think the HQ, especially the Steel Team, should find me familiar.

Recently Singapore is being affected by air pollution, haze from forest fires in nearby Indonesia. The (NEA) 24-hr PSI reading were at 56-150(Elevated) levels regularly, and sometimes even venturing into 151-250(High-unhealthy) levels. During times like these, we spend more time reflecting on the importance of nature/good weather and our own health.

It is against such backdrop, that SGP office held its annual “Fitness Day” to commemorate the founding of Hyundai Corporation Group. SMN Seo insisted on meaningful activity that can give back to society and picked the METTA Charity Run 2019 on 28th Sept for this occasion.

It was good exercise that challenged both the mind and body. Depending on individual fitness level, everyone was free to choose to run a distance of 5km or 10km. The top three performing male and female athletics in each distance category all received awards for their best efforts. Everyone was then able to recover with a heart brunch together at a café.

Happy 43rd Anniversary Hyundai Corporation! The company is only as good as its people, and everyone should try their best to bring Hyundai Corporation Group to new heights. We should also remember to take care of our family and health so we can always do our best. Wishing everyone the best of luck and good health.
